Partnerships are at the heart of IFAD´s ABH. From those contributing financially to the programme, to those managing each of the country hubs and the many stakeholders that take part in the local ecosystem for youth employment. Partnerships drive the program!

The ABH programme has been possible thanks to the unwavering commitment and generous support of IFAD, the German Government and the Visa Foundation. The funds provided have enabled the implementation of this flagship pilot in nine countries. More are already showing their interest in contributing to the deepening and expansion of the effective ABH solution to rural youth employment.

At local level, the hubs exist at the level that is relevant to the country. Geographic expansion of operations and the roles played by stakeholders determine if there is one country level integrated hub constituted by one ecosystem or if there are several local mini ecosystems managed by a higher level one in country.

The ecosystem is a space for partnership and collaboration towards goals that none of the stakeholders have been to date able to achieve alone. Each partner in the ecosystem assumes a function that propels youth towards employment and profitable entrepreneurship!
